Azerbaijan may join Central Asian project similar to 'Schengen Visa’

Baku. 21 December. REPORT.AZ/ In February 2019, Uzbekistan and Kazakhstan will apply ‘Silk Visa’, which is similar to Schengen Visa, Chairman of the State Committee for Tourism Development Ulugbek Kasimkhojayev told journalists.
Report informs that, according to him, the visa will be applied in order to attract tourists to Central Asia and popularize this route.
Kasimkhojayev also noted that Kyrgyzstan and Tajikistan are also interested in this visa and said Kazakhstan plans to include Azerbaijan and Turkey in this project.
