"We are working to create cultural tourism routes. In this regard, we are working with Georgia to develop the Ali-Nino tourist route," Sharifa Hasanova, a representative of the Azerbaijan Tourism Board (ATB) of the State Tourism Agency, told Report.

She stressed that they prepare this project together with Georgia:

"Ali-Nino combines some aspects of both Azerbaijan and Georgia. Our goal in the project is to create an opportunity for European tourists to travel to both Azerbaijan and Georgia, as they usually want to see the Caucasus on one tourist itinerary. Along this route, tourists will have a chance to visit Baku, Ganja, and Shusha in the future. The Georgian side is preparing the places to travel in Georgia, and the leading destination will be Tbilisi. The Ali-Nino tourist route is planned for this year. The project is currently being worked on."

Hasanova said that one of the goals for next year is to develop joint tourist routes: "European tourists want to see the Caucasus in one destination, so there is a need for such tourist routes."
