Baku. 27 September. REPORT.AZ/ "Over 500 participants will attend the next Baku Shopping Festival. However, this figure was less than 300 at the previous event".

Report informs, Azerbaijani Minister of Culture and Tourism Abulfas Garayev said.

According to him, the process of return of value added tax (VAT) to the participants will be simplified this year.

The minister also spoke about possible application of a simplified visa regime for citizens of other countries along with Arabs: "At present, ASAN Visa system is available. I think that this is the most unique condition for foreign tourists. Specific rules may apply to citizens of some countries, which is part of foreign policy".

According to him, currently, Azerbaijan conducts work to attract tourists from China: "We have recently visited China and signed a deal with them. Work is underway through the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. Also AZAL expands flights to China. Tourists from China are special tourists. We will charge professionals to attract the Chinese tourists".

The minister also spoke about introduction of dumping system in the tourism sector and said that it is against artificial price changes: "I believe that there must be an offer for every price.
