Azerbaijan begins to vaccinate employees of State Tourism Agency

Vaccination of employees of the State Tourism Agency of Azerbaijan against coronavirus (COVID-19) infection has started today.

The inoculation is being carried out at the city clinical hospital No. 2, named after M.A.Afandiyev.

The process is voluntary and uses the Chinese company Sinovac's CoronaVac vaccine.

Chairman of the State Tourism Agency Fuad Nagiyev said that vaccination of citizens at a time when there is a shortage of drugs around the world is an indication of the attention and care of the country's leadership in this area.

The chairman of the agency called on everyone to take advantage of the conditions created within the measures taken in the country to combat the pandemic.

He added that vaccination is the most expedient step for the revival of tourism and safe travel.
