Tbilisi. 27 April. REPORT. AZ/ "There are great opportunities for expansion of economic, trade and tourism relations between the regions of Azerbaijan and Georgia".

Grigol Nemsadze, governor of Kvemo Kartli region, told the Georgian bureau of Report News Agency.

According to him, there are all conditions for the development of tourism and economic relations between the two countries as well as the neighboring regions: "Our border regions cooperate in the field of agriculture, which is a special project to further expansion of our cooperation and to develop our relationships in tourism. A number of issues will be discussed in this project. It will be held meeting between Azerbaijani side and Government, as well as the regional structures in June. After this, implementation of the project will be carried out. I think that the implementation of this project will bring us a lot of benefits."

Notably, presentation of the project dedicated to the prospects for the tourism potential of Kvemo Kartli was held on April 27 in Tbilisi. 

The event was attended by Grigol Nemsadze, head of the Georgian National Tourism Agency, Georgi Chogovadze and others.
