Azerbaijan among top 5 countries of inbound tourism in Russia

According to the results of the first half of 2019, the top ten countries from which foreigners travel to Russia were headed by Ukraine with an indicator of 3.424 million trips, Report informs citing the Russian media.

According to the Russian TourStat, Kazakhstan is second (1.569 million trips), China is in the third place (780,000 trips). Finland ranks fourth. Azerbaijan took the fifth place in the ranking (418,000 trips (+ 6%)) followed by Poland, Germany, Armenia, Moldova and Estonia. South Korea (+ 42%) and China (+ 17%) demonstrated the most significant increase in trips. The indicators of Thailand (+ 23%), Mongolia (+ 5%) and Japan (+ 2%) also increased.
