Azerbaijan among top 10 best halal tourism destinations

Baku. 20 April. REPORT.AZ/ Azerbaijan included in top 10 best Islamic tourism destinations out of 130 countries according to Global Muslim Travel Index 2018 ranking.

Report informs, in 2018, Crescent Rating experts named Malaysia as the most popular destination for Muslim tourists (among Islamic countries) and Singapore (among non-Islamic ones).

Turkey has become the fourth, Kazakhstan tops the top five and Azerbaijan top-ten. Turkey has become the fourth, followed by Kazakhstan and Azerbaijan ranked 10^th. The Global Muslim Travel Index is annually compiled by the Singaporean rating agency Crescent Rating. The study assesses various conditions for Muslims to relax: obtaining a visa, access to prayer, safe travel, accessibility and quality of halal products, terms and conditions in hotels.
