Azerbaijan abolishes visa regime for Turkish citizens starting tomorrow

Azerbaijan will abolish visa regime for Turkish citizens from tomorrow.

Report informs that the decision in this regard will come into force on September 1.

According to the decision, visa requirements for Turkish citizens who want to visit Azerbaijan for up to 30 days will be canceled.

In addition, the status of Turkish citizens wishing to stay in Azerbaijan for more than 30 days is governed by the relevant laws of the Republic of Azerbaijan.

In addition, according to the decision of the Government of the Republic of Turkey, citizens of the Republic of Azerbaijan who have been visiting this country for up to 30 days are also exempted from visa requirements.

Notably, in July, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Azerbaijan sent a note to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkey regarding the cancellation of the visa requirement.
