Revealed a tour from Azerbaijan to Ukrainian annexed territories

Baku. 1 September. REPORT.AZ/ Organization of a tour from Azerbaijan to the Ukrainian annexed Crimean region has been revealed.

Report informs, currently, 'Karvan Tourism' company carries out ticket sale on Crimea-Yalta direction. Even in July, information was posted on the official page of the company on social networks regarding treatment tour to the mentioned route.

On June 4, 2015 the Ukrainian Cabinet of Ministers approved "The order of entry into the temporarily occupied territory of Ukraine and exit from it." According to the document, the person who violated the order of entry in the temporarily occupied territory of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea and Sevastopol in Ukraine, prosecuted in accordance with the current legislation of Ukraine.

In accordance with the procedure, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Azerbaijan (MFA) has warned the citizens in regard with the entrance procedure to the mentioned territories.

Report was told at 'Karvan Tourism' company, however, currently sale on the mentioned tour is not available, to book a ticket or hotel is possible.

Report was told at the Azerbaijani Ministry of Culture and Tourism, the tourism companies were recommended to comply with the tour procedures declared by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs not only during visits to the Autonomous Republic of Crimea and Sevastopol, but also during visits of Azerbaijani tourists. 

Report was told at 'Karvan Tourism' company, however, currently sale on the mentioned tour is not available, to book a ticket or hotel is possible. "At the moment, our company does not organize treatment group tours in a sanatorium in Yalta and Crimea. However, we are organizing  the booking of tickets and hotels. Due to the lack of direct flights from Azerbaijan to Crimea, it's relatively expensive for route customers. Group tours and flights are carried out through Moscow. The price of one ticket only Baku-Moscow-Baku is 920 AZN."

In response to the Report's request, Ministry of Culture and Tourism of Azerbaijan has announced that travel agencies organizing tourist trips in general, are recommended to comply the rules established by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs on entry to the territory of other states, including the Autonomous Republic of Crimea and Sevastopol.
