Deputy Minister: Number of tourists from Arab countries up by 8-fold

Baku. 16 December. REPORT.AZ/ "Compared with 2015, the number of tourists in Azerbaijan up by 11%. We hope that this figure will grow."

Report informs, Deputy Minister of Culture and Tourism Nazim Samadov said.

He noted that the number of tourists from the United Arab Emirates has increased by 33-fold and from Arab countries a total of 8-fold.

He added that after applying ‘ASAN Viza’ system, the number of tourists will increase.
