NBA players test positive for COVID-19

Ahead of the NBA restart, two more Brooklyn Nets players tested positive for COVID-19 – DeAndre Jordan and Spencer Dinwiddie, Report says.

On Monday (Tuesday IST), Jordan confirmed that he would not be participating in the NBA restart at the Walt Disney World in Orlando, Florida.

Dinwiddie is now in self-isolation and will re-evaluate his status in two weeks, per the report. It's unclear now if Dinwiddie will participate. Nets forward Wilson Chandler announced on Sunday that he would opt-out of the restart, something players can do without penalty.

Notably, the NBA is planning to resume season on July 31 with 22 teams. All teams will play in Orlando, Florida.

The current season's NBA matches were suspended on March 12 due to a coronavirus. Earlier, two players of the Sacramento Kings tested positive for COVID-19.
