Azerbaijan starts training for European Championship finals

The training sessions of the Azerbaijani women's national volleyball team are underway ahead of the European Championship finals, Report informs, citing the Federation.

The national team, which participated in the Savaria international tournament and the training camp in Hungary on August 1-7, left for Bosnia and Herzegovina on August 8. According to the training plan, the volleyball players will continue the training sessions in the host country.

The team coached by Vugar Aliyev will complete the training on August 16 and, a day later will leave for Belgrade, Serbia, which will host the European Championship.

Besides Serbia, group A includes Belgium, Russia, France, Bosnia, and Herzegovina.
