Through the 12-minute film, the project partners wanted to stress that the persons with disabilities must be regarded as a part of our inclusive society, where all members of the society have equal rights and opportunities, have access to education along with others. The video emphasizes that disability is not a barrier to enjoy the life.
EU Ambassador to the Republic of Azerbaijan Mr. Kestutis Jankauskas said that the project is important for all.
"We are carrying a very important work. We mark two important dates - the International Day of Human Rights and International Day of Persons with Disabilities. Every person has the right to be a part of social life. This project is important for all of us," he said.
In addition, the event participants stressed the importance of introduction and development of inclusive education noting that in this direction Azerbaijan is cooperating with different international organizations, particularly, UN.
