State Social Protection Fund on early retirement

The State Social Protection Fund (SSPF) has appealed to those wishing to retire early, Report informs, citing the director of the central branch for the assignment of social payments under the State Fund for Social Protection (SSPF), Mail Mammadov.

“Sometimes citizens believe that upon reaching a certain age, they are automatically credited with a labor pension. However, this is not the case. According to the law “On Labor Pension”, a pension is automatically assigned if pension capital has been accumulated. If a citizen believes that he has pension capital for that period, the insurance period is 25 or more years, he/she can apply to the reception departments, DOST centers with the appropriate documents. His eligibility for retirement will be examined and he will be informed about it," he said.
