Over 200 children reunited with families in Azerbaijan last year

Azerbaijan successfully reunited 216 children with their families in 2024, Report informs, citing the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of Population. These children, who were previously under the care of state institutions, have now found their way back to their family homes.

The ministry also reported that their efforts prevented an additional 182 children from being sent to institutional care facilities during the same period.

Over the past period, a total of 664 children have been reintegrated with their families, while 547 children have been spared from institutional placement.
