Over 2,000 Azerbaijani citizens married foreigners last year

Azerbaijan's Ministry of Justice has revealed the number of Azerbaijani citizens who married foreigners last year.
In response to Report's inquiry, the ministry said it recorded 2,270 wedlocks between citizens of Azerbaijan and foreigners and stateless people (1,160 women and 1,110 men) in 2019. Moreover, the number of divorces made 187.
In addition, the country registered 63,724 marriages and 17,301 divorces in 2019.
