Over 100 children of martyrs born in Azerbaijan after Patriotic War 

102 children of martyrs were born in Azerbaijan after the Patriotic War, head of YASHAT Foundation Elvin Huseynov said Friday.

According to him, they will never see their fathers: “All children of martyrs, veterans were left in our trust.”

The Foundation covers necessary expenses of the martyrs’ children born after the Patriotic War. For this purpose, the newborns’ mothers receive a cash benefit of AZN 1,000. Moreover, a deposit account in the name of martyrs’ newborn is opened, to which AZN 5,000 is transferred from the amount collected as donations to the Foundation. Interest will accrue on this amount, and the child will be able to withdraw the amount collected when reaching the age of 18.
