Ministry: More than 16 thousand heirs of martyrs received one-time payment

A decision  to grant one-time payment to 881 heirs of 581 martyrs was made at the meeting of the Commission under the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of the Population.

Report informs citing the Ministry that relevant work is being carried out to transfer one-time payment to the bank accounts of these heirs in the coming days.

After being transferred of one-time payment to accounts, a message will be sent to their phone numbers.

Notably, according to the Decree of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan dated April 19, 2018 and January 28, 2019, 12268 heirs of martyrs are entitled to receive one-time payment. So far, it has been decided to grant one-time payments to 16394 heirs of 11067 martyrs.

Thus, the implementation of the one-time payment program to the heirs of martyrs reached 90.2 percent.
