Azerbaijan's population grows in 1Q21

The State Statistical Committee of Azerbaijan has announced the number of the population in the country, Report informs.
Since the beginning of the year, the country's population has grown by 7,994 people or 0.1%, and as of March 1, 2021, it reached 10,127,127 people.
The population density per square kilometer was 117 people.
According to the committee, 53.0% of the population live in urban areas, while 47.0% are rural residents.
Men and women made 49.9% and 50.1% of the total population, respectively. Currently, there are on average 1,002 women per 1000 men.
