Azerbaijan announces demographic situation

The demographic situation of the population in Azerbaijan has been declared, Report says.

According to the State Statistics Committee, the country's residents increased by 33,514 people (0.3%) from the beginning of the year and reached 10,100,622 as of August 1.

52.8% of the total population is urban, 47.2% -rural, 49.9% -men, and 50.1% -women. The population per square kilometer was 117 people.
