CineMastercard hosts pre-premiere screening of mystical thriller The Crow

In the premium cinema CineMastercard, located in the shopping center Amburan Mall (Bilgah settlement), a pre-premiere screening of the American gothic film The Crow took place in the open air. The film is based on the graphic novel by James O'Barr.

Bill Skarsgård and FKA Twigs played the main roles of Eric DCrow and his beloved Shelley Webster. Bill is familiar to the viewer for his roles in the films It, Nine Days, John Wick 4. FKA Twigs, Talia Debrett Barnett, is better known as a singer, songwriter, and dancer. The characters are modern, dynamic, have different creative interests, and live in a progressive society with intriguing retro design elements. Bill Skarsgard adds that The Crow offers viewers a unique experience. "It's emotional, dark, gritty, romantic, with a lot of action."

According to the director Rupert Sanders, the previous film adaptation was focused exclusively on revenge, and in the new The Crow, viewers will also see a love story. "I wanted the audience to believe in their feelings, to feel all the pain of Eric when this love is taken away from him," he says. "So The Crow is two films in one: revenge action and romance."

At the center of the story stands a musician named Eric DCrow. He has to sacrifice himself to protect his beloved Shelly. However, Eric's sacrifice turns out to be in vain - Shelly is still deprived of life.

A year after the tragedy, Eric, who is stuck between the worlds of the living and the dead, rises from the afterlife. Now he is a Crow with the power of a God. The hero returns to the world of people to find criminals, take cruel revenge on them and restore justice.

At the pre-premiere screening of the film, among the guests there were show business stars, journalists, bloggers, entrepreneurs and heads of large organizations.

Singer Aliya, who participated in the project The Voice of Azerbaijan, delighted the audience with her original style and unique manner of performance.

The main feature of the event was the gothic dance of the group Show1Baku, where gloomy images with mesmerizing elements of a fire show were intertwined into a single spectacle.

The film company VOLGA, Cinema Distribution, the restaurant FRYDAY Burgers & Fries, photo and video by the creative company Light in Black, the decor company Big Holiday, the quest Astral, lighting effects ProEvents, traditional Japanese-Asian desserts Mochiki, premium wines Hillside, Bonaqua and Red Bull provided support in organizing the event.
