Legendary jazz singer to give concert in Baku

Baku. 15 February . REPORT.AZ/ Legendary singer of jazz, blues and soul Roy Young will perform together with music band King of Blues in the International Mugam Center on February 17.

Report informs citing the center that the concert will begin at 20:00.

Roy Young's creativity is rich with jazz compositions of many performers in the 1950s and 1960s of the sunny New Orleans jazz.

He performed with world’s greatest singers James Brown, Ray Charles, Bill Kobham, Billy Sheppard and Johnny Micchel.

The singer who communicates closely with the audience, has an exciting voice, with a sense of openness and soft humor, can transform every activity into an incredible, bright show. Even most lyrical works in his creativity involve audiences interested in jazz and blues rhythms to dance.

Today, Roy Young has more than half a century of high career and acts as a regular guest in the world's popular jazz festivals.
