Month of Ramadan starts today in Azerbaijan.
According to Report, on this day the first day of the month of Ramadan will be on May 6 by the Gregorian calendar.
The month of Ramadan will start from the moment the Moon appears on the horizon. The night of May 6 is the Night of Intention (niyat).
The Eid al-Fitr (1st day of the month of Shawwal) will be marked on June 5 from the moment the Moon appears on the horizon.
Thus, the last day of Ramadan dates to June 5. In line with the decision of the Cabinet of Ministers, 5-6 June will be non-working in Azerbaijan.
