Zelenskyy: "Israel, Switzerland and Turkiye are working on the evacuation of people from Azovstal"

"Third countries are working to free the defenders of Mariupol from the Azovstal plant, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy told the Italian TV station Rai 1.

"We must not stop. We must fight for everyone. We don't want to keep the dead there because their families are waiting for them. We passed information to Russia. We even used a mechanism to involve a third country. Israel, Switzerland and Turkey are working on this issue," Zelenskyy said.

The head of state said the Ukrainian side is ready to exchange Russian captives for the wounded defenders of Mariupol.
