"So far, 973 Ukrainian children have been evacuated to Turkey," First Lady of Ukraine Yelena Zelenskaya said in an interview with Anadolu.
"Our pre-war friendship with President Recep Tayyip Erdogan and his spouse Emine Erdogan has grown stronger. Turkey has become one of our most preferred countries when looking for a safe place for our children. I asked Mrs. Emine Erdogan to help us in this matter. As a result, we saw Turkey's support not in words, but in deeds," Mrs. Zelenskaya said.
