US Secretary of State: Turks had a legitimate security concern

“The Turks had a legitimate security concern," US Secretary of State Mike Pompeo said, justifying the Turkish incursion into northern Syria days after U.S. troops left, Report informs citing Haber7.

“They have a terrorist threat to their south”, Pompeo said.

He noted that  the US would continue to fight against IS terrorists in Syria.
