US refuses to issue visa for Russian interor minister

The United States disrupted the participation of Russian Interior Minister Vladimir Kolokoltsev in the UN summit of Interior Ministers by not issuing visas for the Russian delegation, the Permanent Representative of the Russian Federation to the UN Vasily Nebenzya said, Report informs via Russian media.

“The actions of the American side disrupted the participation of the Russian Internal Affairs Ministry delegation, headed by Interior Minister Vladimir Kolokoltsev, in the summit. The Russian delegation was simply not issued a visa,” Nebenzya said, speaking at the summit.

“In this regard, we would like to emphasize again that the provision of visas for delegates is not a privilege, but an international legal obligation of the United States,” he added.
