US launches second wave of strikes against Iran, CENTCOM says

US forces have launched a second wave of strikes against Iran targeting military capabilities used to threaten shipping in the Strait of Hormuz, Report informs, citing US Central Command's post on X.
CENTCOM said the operations began at 3 p.m. ET or 23:00 Baku time.
According to the statement, the strikes targeted Iranian military capabilities used to threaten vessels freely transiting through the Strait of Hormuz, an international waterway vital to global commerce.
The US military said it was holding Iran accountable at the direction of the Commander in Chief.
