Ukrainian Armed Forces destroy four Russian planes, three helicopters, and drone

On March 13, the Ukrainian military destroyed four Russian planes, three helicopters, and a drone, according to the Command of the Ukraine Air Forces, Report informs, citing UNIAN.

"During the day on March 13, the air defense forces of the state hit four aircraft, three helicopters, and an unmanned aerial vehicle…" the statement says.

In particular, in one of the strategic directions in the Kyiv district, a group of Russian aircraft such as Su-35, Su-34, and Su-25 tried to launch missile and bomb attacks on the fortifications of the Ukrainian defenders.

"And while the Air Force fighters were conducting a positional air confrontation with the superior forces of the invaders, the air defense fired anti-aircraft missiles at enemy air targets. Three hits on enemy aircraft were previously recorded," the command noted.

In addition, anti-aircraft missile troops reported the defeat of three Russian helicopters and one drone.

"There is good news from the Sever operational command, whose air defense hit another plane this morning…," Ukraine's Armed Forces added.
