Ukraine to increase defense spending again

The Ukrainian parliament is preparing to increase the country's defense spending again, Yaroslav Zheleznyak, a member of the Verkhovna Rada, said, Report informs.

According to Zheleznyak, 2 billion hryvnias ($53.9 million) might be allocated for the expenses of the General Intelligence Department of the Ukrainian Defense Ministry.

The Ukrainian MP said that the source of new funds should be domestic borrowing. According to him, the relevant bill will be considered at the next session of the parliament.
