Ukraine’s coronavirus death toll reaches 187

The number of officially confirmed COVID-19 cases in Ukraine has reached 7,170 as of April 23, according to the country’s Health Ministry.
In total, 187 people have died from the disease in Ukraine, and 504 have recovered.
In the past 24 hours, Ukraine has identified 578 new COVID-19 cases.
The novel coronavirus (COVID-19) emerged in late 2019 in China’s Hubei province, and the virus has spread to 210 countries and territories since then.
To date, COVID-19 cases have reached 2,639,721 globally, resulting in 722,387 recoveries and 184,280 deaths.
On February 11, the WHO officially named the 2019 novel coronavirus (2019-nCoV) as COVID-19, and on March 11, declared it a pandemic.
