Ukraine establishes two alternative land routes to deliver food to Africa

Ukraine has established two alternative land routes to deliver food exports and save Africa and other regions from hunger, Ukrainian Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba said on Twitter, Report informs, citing RBC-Ukraine.

"Russia puts millions of people at risk of hunger by blocking our ports. Together with partners, Ukraine has established two alternative land routes to deliver food exports and save Africa and other regions from hunger. Russia must end its blockade to allow full and free export," he said.

West Africa has faced the worst food crisis in history due to conflicts and draught. Russia's invasion of Ukraine caused the price hike and reduced the availability of foodstuffs.
