In-person education resumes at Turkish universities, Erol Özvar, President of the Turkish Council of Higher Education, said, Report informs, citing Anadolu.
"This academic year will start in a traditional, in-person format. We are looking forward to seeing the students again. Distance learning cannot replace traditional education. We consider in-person tuition the main priority. Naturally, some cases can be an exception," he said.
Özvar stressed the importance of vaccinating education workers, teachers, and students.
Secondary schools also reopened their doors to students in a traditional format on September 6.
