Turkish special forces neutralize 6 terrorists

Turkish special forces have neutralized six terrorists in Syria and northern Iraq, Report informs citing the National Defense Ministry of Turkiye.

“Special Forces neutralized three YPG terrorists (combat wing of the PKK in Syria) in the Peace Spring operation zone and two terrorists in the Olive Branch operation zone. Another PKK militant was neutralized in the Zap region of northern Iraq,” the Defense Ministry said.

President Recep Tayyip Erdogan said earlier that thousands of Turkish security forces, military and civilians have been killed by the PKK since 1984 when its militants carried out their first terrorist attack in Turkiye.
