Turkish, Qatari foreign ministers discuss Middle East tensions

Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan met with Qatar's Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al Thani, Report informs, citing Haber Global.
Although details of the meeting were not disclosed, the talks were expected to focus on tensions in the Middle East and the situation in the Strait of Hormuz.
Qatar, along with Pakistan, has acted as a mediator in efforts to settle the US-Iran conflict.
After the Islamabad Memorandum of Understanding was violated, Iran also attacked US facilities in Qatar.
