Turkish Foreign Ministry condemns Baghdad terrorist attack

The Turkish Foreign Ministry has decried the terrorist attack on a market in Baghdad.
"We strongly condemn this heinous terrorist attack, and we reaffirm our support for our friend and neighbor, Iraq, in the fight against terrorism," the Turkish Foreign Ministry said.
"We are disappointed to learn that many people have been killed and injured in a suicide attack on a market in the Iraqi capital, Baghdad. We wish God's mercy to those killed in the treacherous attack, a speedy recovery to the wounded, and condolences to the brotherly Iraqi people and government," the statement said.
A series of terrorist attacks in Baghdad has killed at least 28 people and injured 73 others.
