Turkish lecturer calls for broader cooperation on missing persons

It is deeply saddening to see families who continue to suffer from the pain of missing loved ones, Timur Gultekin, a lecturer at Ankara University and participant in the 4th International Conference within the Baku Dialogue on Missing Persons, told Report's correspondent in Khojaly.

He stressed the importance of expanding international cooperation to intensify efforts related to missing persons.

"In fact, when we come here, we look back at everything that has happened since 1992. It is very sad to see families who are still living with the pain of missing persons after such a long period of time. It is extremely important to obtain information about these individuals and provide it to their families. There is a need to broaden international cooperation in this area," Gultekin said.
