Turkish Armed Forces kill 172 terrorists in Syria, Iraq

The Turkish Armed Forces have neutralized 172 terrorists since January 1, 2022, the Turkish National Defense Ministry said, Report informs via Anadolu Agency.

Twenty-five of the terrorists were killed in northern Iraq and 147 in northern Syria.

During this period, the Turkish Air Force conducted 25 operations using fighter jets and assault missiles, targeting a large number of terrorists.

In 2021, 397 operations were organized, and 2,883 terrorists were eliminated.

The Turkish Armed Forces continue its resolute fight against terrorism in difficult geographical and climatic conditions.
