Turkey issues note of protest to Belgium

Turkey has delivered a note of protest to Belgium.

Report informs citing Huriyyet that Belgium's Ambassador to Turkey, Michel Malherbe, has been summoned to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. He was expressed Turkey's concern about Belgium's steps taken to prevent Turkey from warning people linked to PKK terrorist group in Belgium.

It was stated that Turkey will file a complaint against Belgium's  decision not to warn people linked to PKK.

Spokesman for Turkey's Foreign Ministry Hami Aksoy said the decision of the Belgian prosecutor's office to halt a criminal case against 36 individuals and legal entities linked to PKK was unacceptable.
