Turkey confirms "Mu" strain of coronavirus

Turkish Health Minister Fahrettin Koca has confirmed two cases of coronavirus "Mu" strain following the meeting of Cabinet of Ministers, Report informs, citing TRT Haber.
"A new coronavirus variant known as 'Mu' has been identified in just two cases. Patients were affected by Delta and Delta," the minister said.
Fahrettin Koca also noted that an increase in vaccinations would reduce the infection numbers.
