Tourist survives lightning strike in Batumi

A 32-year-old man was struck by lightning on a beach in Batumi, but he survived, Report informs referring to Georgian media.
The Russian tourist, along with his brother and friends, came to the pier to record a video. Suddenly, lightning struck, and one of them was hit by a powerful electric shock.
The victim was taken to the Batumi Republican Hospital. According to doctors, as a result of the strike, he received first- and second-degree burns, but his condition is assessed as stable.
