Tajikistan invites 26 countries to observe parliamentary elections

Tajikistan has sent invitations to 26 countries and international organizations to observe the country's parliamentary elections, which will be held on March 2, 2025, said Mahfirat Khidirzoda, a member of the Central Commission for Elections and Referendums (CCER) of the country, Report informs referring to local media.

She noted that a mobile application "Elections of People's Deputies - 2025" has been created and is operating in the country.

Furthermore, in December 2024, the CCER established a unified national electoral district and single-mandate district commissions, and formed 41 single-mandate electoral districts for parliamentary elections.

To enable Tajik citizens abroad to participate in the elections, 36 polling stations have been organized in 28 countries at embassies, consulates, and representative offices of the republic.
