Strong wind causes complications in Tbilisi

Tbilisi. 5 October. REPORT.AZ/ Strong wind blowing last night in Georgian capital Tbilisi has created a number of complications.

Georgia bureau of Report News Agency informs that trees in several districts of the city fell on cars and demolished the roofs of the houses.

One person was slightly injured as a result of the tree fall in the Gldani-Nadzaladevi district of the capital.

Georgia's Emergency Management Agency (GEMA) is taking steps to eliminate the consequences of strong winds.

The strong wind in the neighboring country is expected to die down this evening.

According to the State Department of Hydrometeorology of Georgia, wind power in eastern regions and Tbilisi is 20-25 meters per second and 20 meters per second in the western regions.
