State flags lowered in Georgia

Tbilisi. 25 February. REPORT.AZ/ 98 years have passed since occupation of Georgia by the Soviet troops.
Local bureau of Report informs that the flags were lowered in all state institutions of the country due to this.
The state flags were also lowered in the Georgian President's palace, parliament, ministries, central and local government offices.
On February 25, 2010, the Georgian Parliament adopted a resolution declaring February 25 as the Soviet Occupation Day. On February 25, 1921, the Red Army invaded Tbilisi and overthrew the Democratic Republic of Georgia.
