The Foreign Affairs Minister of Slovenia Tanja Fajon arrived in Kyiv on Friday, January 17, Report informs via RBC Ukraine.
Fajon was invited by the Foreign Affairs Minister of Ukraine Andrii Sybiha, the Foreign Ministry of Slovenia said.
Fajon will take part in the Ukraine-Southeast Europe ministerial meeting to discuss support for Ukraine.
“She will talk with her colleagues about further support for Ukraine, the reconstruction of the country, and the search for a peaceful solution,” the statement said.
Last June, the President of Slovenia Nataša Pirc Musar visited Ukraine.
Then, Ukraine signed a security agreement with Slovenia. The agreement states that Slovenia will assist Ukraine in training within the framework of the EU Military Assistance Mission (EUMAM) and will cooperate in finding sources of funding for Ukrainian defense industry projects.
