NATO doors remain open for Georgia and Ukraine, Secretary-General of the Alliance Jens Stoltenberg said at the College of Europe in Brussels, Report's Georgian bureau informs.
He noted that in order to join the Alliance, both countries must meet NATO standards.
"My main appeal to these countries is to focus on reforms, strengthening democratic institutions and fighting corruption," he said.
Stoltenberg stressed that NATO supports Georgia and Ukraine in carrying out reforms.
