REPORT.AZ/  Mohammad al-Otaibi, Saudi Arabia’s Consul General in Istanbul, where prominent Saudi journalist Jamal Khashoggi disappeared, has been relieved of his post and will be investigated, according to an official statement carried by Sabq newspaper on Wednesday, Report informs citing Reuters.

Moreover, 11 Saudi officials have arrived in Turkey over disappearance of journalist Jamal Khashoggi.

Meanwhile, new details have emerged of the missing journalist and his murder at Saudi Consulate General in Istanbul. By the information, Saudi consul asked to kill Khashoggi outside the consulate.

It is reported that Khashoggi, who visited the Saudi consulate to get some documents, was interrogated and tortured, his fingers were cut and he was killed by beheading. In line with the audio tape, as he was tortured, consul Mohammad al-Otaibi was heard saying:"Do this outside. You're going to get me in trouble."

In another audio tape, someone is heard threatening the general consul: "Shup up, if you want to stay alive in Saudi Arabia."

Meanwhile, Al-Jazeera TV channel says Khashoggi was killed in the consul's office and his body was dismembered in seven minutes. Dismembering was performed by Saudi forensic pathologist Salah al-Tubaigy.

He even recommended the Saudis around him to listen to the music.

By the information, Salah Mohammad al-Tubaigy accompanied crown prince Mahammad bin Salman during the US visit.

Notably, journalist Jamal Khashoggi was last seen entering the Saudi consulate building in Istanbul on October 2.
