Russian troops capture Ukrainian city of Popasna 

The Russian Army has taken the Ukrainian city of Popasna, Report informs, citing Russian media.

Luhansk governor Sergiy Gayday confirmed the information.

“The Ukrainian Armed Forces have left the city,” he added. “Unfortunately, our troops withdrew from Popasna. The attack lasted for more than two months. They were constantly firing. Everything was destroyed there. Therefore, our people retreated to stronger positions.”
