The first session of the Russian State Duma on 12 October re-elected Vyacheslav Volodin as the speaker, Report informs, citing RIA Novosti.
He has been the Duma chairman since October 5, 2016.
The elections to the Russian State Duma were held on September 17-19, 2021. The ruling United Russia party won 324 seats, the Russian Communist Party 57 seats, the Fair Russia - For the Truth party 27 seats, the Liberal Democratic Party 21 seats and the New People Party 13 seats.
