Russia, Türkiye hold consultations on Syria

Deputy Foreign Minister of Türkiye Nuh Yilmaz met with the special envoy of the President of the Russian Federation on Syrian Alexander Lavrentyev, Report informs, citing the Turkish Foreign Ministry.
"Deputy Minister Nuh Yilmaz met with the special envoy of the President of the Russian Federation on Syria Alexander Lavrentyev. During the meeting, consultations on Syria were held with the participation of the relevant departments' representatives," the ministry said.
The meeting took place in the Turkish capital, Ankara.
